Every year, the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) organizes the world's largest collective environmental movement against climate change: Earth Hour. On March 30, 2019, as a long-term supporter of the Earth Hour campaign, Cheung Kei Group had switched off all exterior lighting to Cheung Kei Building, as well as lighting in the lobby area, between 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm in the evening. At the same time, the company has also urgedits staff to participate in this meaningful environmental movement, to turn off all their non-essential lighting and electrical appliances for the hour.

The Cheung Kei Group has always been committed to being a good corporate citizen, and has been an active supporter of various charity and social causes; the company believes in expressing its gratitude to the society by giving back to society. The Earth Hour movement began in 2007, and started as a lights-off event in Sydney, Australia. Since then, it has become one of the most influential collective environmental protection events globally. In 2018, people from over 180 countries and territories come together to take action for the planet through the event. This year, the theme of the Earth Hour movement focuses on the decline in biodiversity globally, putting forward a proposal of "coexistencewith nature", rallying people worldwide to take imte action to protect biodiversity.
